Architecture of the Graphics System for Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems

This paper presents a new architecture of graphics system for microkernel operating systems, including real-time systems. The following major parts the are presented: user-level subsystem responsible interaction with user applications; bottom-level providing functionality drivers, such as managing output, video memory management, etc.; kernel-level kernel, and performing low-level operations, working physical memory, processes, etc. mechanisms applications level system, well different levels presented. pays much attention to various approaches testing: use unit testing, testing using hardware software emulators. Another important characteristic is its performance, in particular performance operations allocation: developed suggests separate allocator which faster than standard allocation functions. Comparison performances implementation server Xorg presented, showing significant superiority proposed number work scenarios.
